About Guru
Smt. Jyothsna Vikkirala M.A, M.Phil. – Kuchipudi

Guru Jyothsna Vikkirala is a well-known Kuchipudi dancer, dedicated teacher, and passionate researcher who has committed her life to the divine art of classical dance. With over 15 years of teaching experience and academic excellence, including a Master’s and M.Phil. in Kuchipudi. She has trained more than 800 students, many of whom have performed at temples and cultural festivals across India as acts of devotion.

Her unwavering commitment to the classical arts has been honored through numerous accolades over the years. A few distinguished recognitions include:
  • ⁠Nandi Award in 2020 for excellence in the performing arts
  • ⁠Stri Shakti Puraskar from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2021
  • ⁠Ugadi Puraskar conferred by the Governor of Telangana in 2023
  • ⁠Felicitations by the Governor of Telangana in 2024 and 2025
  • ⁠A blessed opportunity to perform before his Holiness Sri Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi, Peethadhipathi of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham
  • Along with several other prestigious honors at the state and national levels that celebrate her lasting impact on Indian classical arts.
With the divine grace of Lord Nataraja, Guru Jyothsna Vikkirala continues to guide and inspire many through the sacred journey of divine dance.
