Guru Jyothsna Vikkirala is a renowned classical dancer, teacher, and researcher who has devoted her life to the divine art of Kuchipudi. Her passion lies in sharing the spiritual depth and aesthetic beauty of classical dance with people of all ages.
She began her dance journey at a very young age, guided and nurtured by respected and pujyaneeya gurus from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and abroad. This early exposure laid a strong spiritual and artistic foundation that continues to guide her work.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, she holds a Master’s degree and an M.Phil. in Kuchipudi. Her academic journey includes deep research in sacred cultural centers like Tirumala-Tirupati (Sri Venkateswara University) and Melattur, Tamil Nadu, enriching her understanding of the spiritual and cultural roots of classical dance.
As a dedicated Guru, she has trained more than 800 students, many of whom have performed at temples, spiritual festivals, and cultural venues across the country. These performances are often offered as acts of devotion, carrying the divine spirit of classical dance to wide and varied audiences.
Guru Jyothsna Vikkirala has also performed at national-level and international-level festivals, ensuring that her students also perform across renowned and divine premises in both Telugu states and beyond. She has been conferred with many national and state-level awards and recognitions for her outstanding contributions to the field of classical dance.
With the blessings of Lord Nataraja, Guru Jyothsna Vikkirala continues to inspire, guide, and uplift students by helping them discover the spiritual power of dance. For her, dance is not just an art form—it is a sacred path to devotion, discipline, and inner transformation.
